At Hopeful Pets, your satisfaction and the wellbeing of our animals are our top priorities. Please review our refund and return policies carefully before making a purchase.

🛍️ Pet Supply Returns

We accept returns on most non-living items such as food, toys, accessories, and supplies.

Eligibility:

  • You may return unused, unopened products within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be in their original packaging and condition.

  • Proof of purchase (order number or confirmation email) is required.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Opened food or treats

  • Perishable or customized items

  • Items marked “Final Sale”

Return Process:

  1. Email us at info@hopefulpets.com to initiate a return.

  2. We will provide instructions for returning your item(s).

  3. Once received and inspected, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Return Shipping:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made a mistake with your order.

🐾 Live Animal Sales

Due to the nature of live animal care, all sales of live animals are final. We take the health and welfare of our animals very seriously, and we do our best to ensure every animal is healthy and ready for their new home.

Health Guarantee:

If a health issue is discovered within 14 days of purchase, please contact us immediately at info@hopefulpets.com. We may offer:

  • Veterinary support or guidance

  • A partial refund or store credit (case-by-case basis)

  • Replacement (if appropriate and available)

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for:

  • Accidental injury or neglect after the animal leaves our care

  • Changes in circumstances or personal preferences

💳 Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is approved and processed:

  • A refund will be issued to your original payment method.

  • Refunds may take up to 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

❗ Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us at info@hopefulpets.com within 3 days of delivery. Include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the item and packaging
